Business Analyst I - Sales

The Beverage Business Insights & Analytics team is a sub-division of the Business Development function overseeing Niagara's development and evaluation of bringing branded beverages to the business. This team leverages our strong analytical, pricing & financial acumen, and detailed knowledge of products & markets to achieve our goal of supporting the growth of Niagara's Beverage Manufacturing business.

The Business Analyst supports the department in leveraging data to strengthen the business in making more informed, strategic, and data-supported decisions as we evaluate new and ongoing business opportunities. This consists of collaborating across multiple functions that include; Business Development, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and other teams that support Beverage Manufacturing. The analyst will report to and work closely with the Sr. Manager Business Insights & Analytics.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze key market data and provide updates on the latest trends in the industry to senior team members.
  • Learn how to interpret financial ratio's & metrics to understand how different aspects of a project influence costing categories. Provide insight as to how to mitigate risk to the business on opportunities being evaluated.
  • Support Beverage Manufacturing monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales and Business Development teams to make pricing and project suggestions.
  • Effectively communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop recommendations based on analysis and translate into clear action plan(s) and/or presentation(s) for functional leaders.
  • Contribute to process and operating model improvement through data driven insights in collaboration with Business Partners.
  • Support the ongoing development and management of our CRM tool by working collaboratively with IT and Sales to ensure tool adoption, streamlined functionality, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 0 Years - Experience in Sales/Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Business (General)
    • 0 Years - Experience in project support or coordinator role

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 2 Years- Experience in Sales/Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Business (General)
    • 2 Years - Experience managing people/projects

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administrations, Sales/Marketing, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related quantitative fields
