Our Corporate IT Group is seeking a talented IT Systems Administrator to join the team in Kennesaw, GA. Responsibilities
Imagine a day where your work powers the backbone of progress. You support systems both on-prem and in the cloud, ensure smooth access to data, and keep technology running at its best. One moment you're optimizing environments, the next you're improving security or helping teams work better together. Server & Infrastructure Administration: Administer server and storage solutions both on-prem and in the cloud. Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers. Solid Linux server experience is a plus. Manage VMware vSphere environments. Deploy, maintain, and optimize virtual machines. Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure high availability. Collaborate and administer centralized computer resources for engineering staff
- Storage & Data Management: Administer data estate across multiple storage platforms (File Servers, Cloud/SaaS, Engineering Data Management tools, etc.) and perform data migrations. Administer permissions and access across multiple storage platforms
- Cloud & Identity Services: Administer EntraID, SSO configuration, and conditional access policies. Administer Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.). Assist users with account management, permissions, and collaboration tools. Implement security best practices within the Microsoft 365 environment
- Monitoring & Security: Monitor system performance, security, and backups
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate systems documentation. Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements
- IT Planning & Support: Help develop and work within approved IT budgets for hardware and software. Provide recommendations for enhancing system efficiency

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related strongly preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an IT System Administrator
- Strong experience administering Windows Servers and Infrastructure Services
- Experience administering VMware vSphere or other enterprise class hypervisors
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of Identity management including SSO / SAML configuration and conditional access controls
- Experience automating administration with PowerShell scripts or similar
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users at all levels of the company
- Comfortable with continuous learning of new applications and skills
- Ability to review legacy processes and automate or improve upon them
- Knowledge of design concepts like high availability, server and storage configuration, and load balancing
- Experience supporting applications like MS SQL Server, IIS, and/or data security controls
- Experience administering Linux and supporting open-source tools is a plus
- AEC application support experience is a plus
- Solid administration experience in medium to large enterprise network
- Familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, Vault, BIM360, PDM, etc.) is a big plus
