Kalman & Company is seeking an Equipment Specialist. This position will be working in Albany, GA and requires an Active Secret clearance. This position offers comprehensive benefit offerings, including (but not limited to) 401K match, health and dental, life insurance, and PTO.

Responsibilities:



  • Developing Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs)
  • Developing Engineering Support Requests from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
  • Monitoring, tracking, updating and archiving information through all applicable Logistics Information Systems.
  • Conducting data research and other data mining efforts as required.
  • Assisting in the development of depot level repair statements of work and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs).
  • The sustainment support shall be performed in the vicinity of the Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany, GA in support of maintenance and sustainment operations managed by the PM MHTV detachments at that location.
  • The candidate shall post all documents completed in support of the PM MHTV to the appropriate repository.
  • The candidate shall provide the document title and report the location (into which repository it was posted) of completed documents in the Monthly Status Report (MSR).


Repositories for systems may include Marine Corps (MCEITS/VIPER), DoD Acquisition Information Repository (AIR), Ground Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS), Marine Corps Publications Library Management System (PLMS) and Marine Corps Systems Command the On-Line Project Information Center (TOPIC) and PM MHTV or PEO LS portals.

Required Education/Qualifications:



  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Candidate must possess a Secret Security Clearance
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience as an Equipment Analyst in US government programs, preferably USMC.
  • Must be organized and have a self-starter attitude.
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
  • Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Desire candidates with military experience, preferably USMC and with vehicle platform experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Visio
