Maintenance Repairman 1 (Seasonal) - Presque Isle State Park

As a Maintenance Repairman 1, you will perform semi-skilled maintenance and repair work in the upkeep of park facilities, buildings, equipment, and grounds to support safe and effective park operations. The incumbent performs a variety of routine maintenance, repair, and construction tasks at a semi-skilled level, under the guidance of a supervisor or higher-level maintenance staff. You will be expected to maintain tools, equipment, and materials in a safe and organized manner. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2025 until November 2025 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2026.
• Employee in this position will be required to work weekends, and holidays as required. Days/Shifts will vary, employee will work 37.5 hrs./5 days per week.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement:

• This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's non-commercial driver's license.
