DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Program Specialist, you will analyze, develop, and monitor programs, as well as evaluate procedures, prepare reports, and encourage the development of other long-term care options across the Commonwealth. You will also serve as a lead for provider overpayment recovery by processing and reporting recovery efforts to address provider non-compliance. This role requires the ability to work independently while making routine decisions and conducting research to develop resolutions to issues. In addition, you will prepare correspondence for the Bureau and Division Director under the Bureau of Fee-for-Service Programs, implement internal processes to address accounts receivables that have not automatically offset through the claims process, and serve as a liaison with other OLTL Bureaus, Community HealthChoices Managed Care Organizations (MCO), and business partners. - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, working two days per week in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
Other Requirements:
