BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Software Engineerto join our Support team. The candidate will work closely with the development team and our customers in the DoD and IC. The position will be on-site in Washington, DC at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and requires a TS/SCI w CI Po
What you will do
- Must meet all qualifications and skills of a Mid-Level developer plus possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
- Plan and lead major technology assignments.
- Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
- May supervise others.
What you need to have
- Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from a college or university accreditrted by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 2 years of related senior experience, for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java, JEE, or Python
- Experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
- Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development
- Experience with Linux OS and command line interface
- Top Secret/SCI w/Poly
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of start date
