Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician Level 1 is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with foundational mechanical skills who are eager to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
* Assist with minor repairs on mechanical systems, including belts, bearings, motors, and pumps.
* Support senior mechanics in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
* Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and on time.
* Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Keep work areas clean and organized.
* Participate in training and development programs as required.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in maintenance work.
* Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (e.g., hot, cold, noisy).
