General Information:

The System Administrator provides administration of enterprise management systems for virtual labs and for the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of shared-use endpoints in computer labs, conference rooms, classrooms, and other public-facing areas. Packages, tests and deploys security and software patches and operating system images to Windows and Apple devices. Provides related third-level support and troubleshooting for the IT Help Desk and Lab Operations teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Administers endpoints, servers, and tools for labs and related services.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex software and hardware issues.
- Researches new technologies and strategies for lab and classroom endpoint management and service delivery.
- Provides training and documentation as required for internal and external technical staff.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
-Experience installing and configuring Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS desktops.
-Experience managing endpoints through such tools as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro or similar.
- Experience managing server infrastructure, including Print Servers, Server virtualization, and other 3rd-party management tools.
- Experience managing Group Policy and Active Directory.
