KPMG is currently seeking a Manager / Senior Manager, Corporate Compliance and Transformation Services to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage ongoing coordination of Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) engagements in Latin America (LATAM) and global, acting as a point of contact for the client, KPMG teams, and other stakeholders participating in the project
  • Monitor KPIs, interact with subject matter experts with the purpose of identifying risks or tax planning opportunities, and support the set-up and facilitation of workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Oversee the broader engagement team in the transition of GCMS engagements in LATAM, including development and monitoring of transition plan and facilitating knowledge transfer across relevant stakeholders
  • Get involved in Tax Transformation engagements in LATAM under the Target Reimagined framework
  • Lead go-to-market and business development activities in LATAM, as directed by GCMS leadership, including work with regional CoE leadership and lead partners in opportunity generation and support proposal development process and pricing of new opportunities
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Additional Responsibility for Senior Manager:
  • Team with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and grow the KPMG tax practice
Qualifications:
  • Minimum six years of recent tax or accounting experience in client facing roles; minimum three years of recent project management experience and experience mentoring and counseling staff/senior level team members
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA, J.D., or LL.M; please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that does not currently possess one of the credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment
  • Strong organization and project management skills, along with public speaking skills; certified PMP preferred
  • Experience working within a multinational teaming environment, working remotely with other team members, as well as being self-sufficient with appropriate oversight
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders are critical in the success of this position
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a plus
