Overview
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that work time will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. The Syndicated Agency Loan Administrator is responsible for post closing syndication, loan administration and invoicing of Agented and Bi-Lateral deals, delivering multifaceted support services for our borrowers, participating lenders and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Loan servicing knowledge with emphasis on agency functions.
- Contact person responsible for all ongoing daily activity and reconciliation issues associated with an assigned portfolio of approximately 50 client relationships
- Monitor customer borrowings, payments, and rate setting activities
- Contact customers regarding maturing loans for renewal or repayment
- Prepare or review bills for distribution to borrowers, provide amounts for payoff statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Process any amendment transactions by updating Loan IQ, calculating and distributing any applicable fees and applying any associated fees and/or cost allocations
- Calculate quarterly and monthly fees and interest, reconciling amounts with borrowers and lenders
- Monitor and reconcile any past due, suspense or account receivable items, notifying portfolio manager of any true delinquencies
- Process all trading activity on portfolio, preparing funding memos and standard bank confirmations when necessary
- Updating compliance pricing ratios in Loan IQ when required
- Process borrower and lender audit confirmations in a timely manner
- Accountable to administer all loans in accordance with the terms of governing documents, relevant legislation and company policy
- Support management with various inquiries, projects and audits
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Banking, Finance, or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Banking, Finance, or Analytics Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Bank operations and regulatory or legal environments
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related area
- 3+ years financial operations experience
- Superior communications and multitasking skills, with the ability to interact with multiple individuals and large bank groups
- Knowledge of lending dynamics or Loan IQ system a plus
If hired in California, the base pay for this position is generally between $69,375 and $100,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
