*Job Description*
Our client is seeking a Network Administrator who will handle cloud and network operations. This position will report directly to the Manager of Cybersecurity in Greensboro, NC. As the Network Administrator, you will perform network and wireless administration duties. You will work closely with the Networking & Cybersecurity team and other Technology teams to resolve networking and application issues and ensure the security and integrity of clients infrastructure and data. * Participate in the configuration and maintenance of cloud services in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft 365. This role is approximately 60% focused on Microsoft cloud-based services. * Perform a wide range of network and wireless administration duties including installations, debugging, maintenance, upgrades, and general support for Cisco, Dell, Fortinet, and Palo Alto network equipment. * Scope and implement new software and hardware products to meet business needs. * Develop and implement appropriate security procedures to safeguard company assets from physical harm, malware, unauthorized access, and other threats. -Keep software and hardware platforms up to date and secure. * Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot software and hardware platforms. Manage tickets, product configurations, and ongoing maintenance of assigned applications and services. * Stay informed and knowledgeable on existing and emerging technologies * Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and two (2) years of experience in cloud technologies (particularly Microsoft Azure). You have two (2) years of networking experience and two (2) years of systems administration. You can view overall business priorities and redefine priorities to meet expectations and objectives. You ensure urgent and important needs of the business are achieved. You excel at analyzing facts, drawing valid conclusions, and identifying correct course of action or developing alternative solutions when necessary. You enjoy collecting data and researching products. You excel at troubleshooting and identifying solutions to common wireless and mobile device problems. You love learning and understanding new technologies. You possess strong functional and technical knowledge to deliver solutions where required. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can communicate with people of varied technical expertise. You contribute to building a positive team spirit.
