Cloud Network Automation Engineer - Allentown, PA (Hybrid) Company: TEKsystems Location: Allentown, PA (Hybrid - 2 Days On-Site, 3 Days Remote) Employment Type: Long-Term Contract (Opportunity for Full-Time Employment) C2C: Not allowed Position Summary TEKsystems is seeking a Network Engineer with strong cloud and DevOps experience to join our team in Allentown, PA. This hybrid role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in cloud networking, automation, and enterprise-level routing, switching, and security. Key Responsibilities * Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments. * Collaborate with both networking and cloud implementation teams to ensure seamless data movement and system integration. * Design, write, and maintain custom automation scripts to move data across networks and into cloud platforms. * Utilize DevOps tools such as Postman and Puppet to automate workflows and infrastructure tasks. * Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of SD-WAN and cloud-integrated networks. * Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule. Required Skills & Experience * Cloud Networking: Azure preferred (AWS or GCP acceptable); experience working with cloud teams. * DevOps & Automation: * Experience with Postman for API testing and automation. * Experience with Puppet or similar tools for infrastructure automation. * Ability to create and design custom scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). * Routing & Switching: Cisco Nexus 9000 series; L1-L3 protocols. * Firewall & Security: Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls; familiarity with ASA, BGP, OSPF. * Enterprise Tools: Cisco Firepower, DNA Center, ISE, Wireless (preferred). * Infoblox: DNS/DHCP support (preferred). Education/Experience * Bachelor's degree in IT with 4-6+ years of experience, or * 8+ years of enterprise network experience without a degree.
