We are seeking a Senior Production Engineer that thrives in a fast-paced environment to support the Search, Track, Acquire, Radiate, Eliminate (STARE) Project Office at the Program Executive Office for Missiles and Space. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, attention to detail, and analytical skills.

The Production Engineer serves as the technical expert for the manufacturing, testing, and fielding of systems, collaborating closely with contractors, quality assurance, logistics, and product / project office personnel to ensure systems are produced to specification, meet quality standards, and are delivered on schedule. Key responsibilities include reviewing technical data packages, determining conformance with requirements, analyzing production data, resolving issues, supporting test procedure development, participating in system inspections and system integration, and the preparation of technical documentation and presentations for leadership. This role requires an understanding of radar fundamentals, manufacturing processes, and quality control.

Required

• ABET accredited BS degree
• 15 years' related experience
• Ability to work within an Integrated Product Team construct
• Proficient in MS Office programs (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Some travel may occasionally be required
• Experience with Army Air and Missile Defense
• Experience with Dept. of Defense Acquisition processes
• Must have in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
