Job Summary

Senior Contract Analyst role involves managing 340B government and supplier contracts, as well as resolving related issues. It requires direct collaboration with suppliers to ensure contracts are administered accurately and issues are resolved promptly for customers. The associate is expected to provide management with recommendations for process improvements based on analytical findings.

The position also involves developing expertise in both system and departmental functions, participating in team projects, and fostering strong relationships to support issue resolution for business partners and customers. Critical thinking, data analysis, research, and contract compliance knowledge are essential to provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the 340B program, including daily processes and exception reports.
  • Research and resolve 340B customer pricing and eligibility inquiries submitted in Salesforce.
  • Perform monthly Contract Pharmacy eligibility audits to ensure accurate administration of customer contract eligibility through the contract system, in accordance with supply agreements. Understand the cause-and-effect relationships related to contract changes within the system.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers, customers, internal business partners, and product management to build relationships and resolve issues.
  • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation enhancements.
  • Proactively work with suppliers to ensure compliance with agreements, focusing on the timeliness and completeness of information.
  • Ensure service level expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Generate and send Monthly PHS and Apexus catalogs, and Apexus Credit/Rebill reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize systems and software to perform complex research assignments and develop system and process expertise.
  • Collaborate with the McKesson Chargebacks and Pricing Corrections team for discrepancy resolution.
  • Provide support to the MHS team by resolving escalated issues.
  • Represent the department on various project teams as a subject matter expert.
  • Cross-train on multiple departmental functions.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Typically requires 5+ years of related experience

Critical Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of related business experience: Experience in Customer Service, Accounting, Financial, or Wholesale Drug industry.
  • Transactional Processing and Compliance Monitoring: Experience should involve transactional processing, monitoring customer compliance, problem-solving, research, and analysis.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in maintaining key accounts, as well as strong research and analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Skilled in using Microsoft Excel and Word.
