The Opportunity: The Mechanic Technician at our esteemed country club's Maintenance Department plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of equipment and vehicles. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual who can contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities and enhance the overall experience for our members and guests.

Duties and Functions:

• Conducting routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on golf carts, utility vehicles, lawn mowers, and other club equipment.
• Performing mechanical repairs and troubleshooting to address any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns promptly.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, services performed, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Collaborating with other maintenance team members to ensure all club equipment is in optimal working condition.
• Assisting in managing maintenance schedules and developing efficient maintenance routines.
• Participating in equipment procurement decisions by providing technical insights.
• Adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a safe working environment for all staff and club members.
• Providing exceptional customer service to club members and guests by addressing their concerns and inquiries professionally.

Qualification Standards:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical program in mechanics is preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a similar role involving equipment maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing gas and diesel engines.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems in vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
