Position Summary



The Inside Sales Representative Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through proactive outreach, account management, and solution-based selling. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing product information, and uncovering additional opportunities to expand product and service usage. The Inside Sales Representative collaborates closely with commercial sales, customer service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.



This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager and is based in Aurora, IL.



Responsibilities




  • Managing inbound and outbound sales activities


  • Responsible for cultivating relationships with and driving new business through the Pregis distributor network
  • Effective retention of the established book of business by facilitating positive, growth-oriented relationships, sales strategy development, and using internal tools to monitor business.
  • The critical focus is on building and maintaining relationships while driving new business development within an established territory as well as maximizing sales volume growth consistent with overall business profit margin performance while emphasizing the Pregis product lines as a competitive value-added advantage to our customers.
  • Actively monitoring the margin of current business to improve profitability of the overall region.
  • Working closely with Pregis team members, including commercial team, customer service, pricing team, etc.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Key role in growth and development of account relationships for the company
  • Identify needs and requirements to promote the company's solutions and achieve customer satisfaction.



Experience



  • Proven experience (1-3 years) of inside sales experience, working with multiple product/service categories in a highly demanding, customer focused environment
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong listening and presentation skills via phone and video conference
  • Experience working with Cloud for Customer or similar CRM and SAP
  • Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills; ability to solve problems across multiple disciplines internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)



Compensation:


The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis' total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $58-$70K plus bonus for this salaried non-exempt role.
