Auria is
looking for an accomplished Mid-Sr Level Project Manager who will be responsible for managing technical work budgets schedules client relationships and oversight across assigned projects of a multi-disciplinary technical team. Provide some business development and proposal support to aid company growth. This position typically works under regular but limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. The candidate must be comfortable communicating effectively with executive leadership both internal and external. Knowledge of DoD acquisition practices financial management contracting and program and project management is required.
This is a Full-Time position requiring availability during regular business hours M-F. This position may at times require longer hours and or weekend work depending on projects' needs. Position duties include:
- Under the direction of a Program Manager manage project operations and run day-to-day operations across DoD projects to meet program contractual requirements and milestones
- Monitor project progress performance budget deliverables
- Develop/update cost estimates spend plans forecasts schedules (MS Project) monthly status reports and other CDRLs
- Perform regular detailed financial analyses/audits of project status; identify and document risks communicate to stakeholders develop/recommend risk mitigation and/or avoidance solutions and implement as appropriate
- Manage subcontractor budgets schedules and deliverables
- Identify and foster growth opportunities
- Promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
- Support recruitment assessment selection onboarding and training of new employees
- Contribute to regular employee performance assessments / feedback
- Communicate job expectations; planning monitoring appraising and reviewing job contributions
- Analyze and improve organizational processes work to improve quality productivity and efficiency across assigned projects
- Provide bid and proposal support as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a Project Management leadership role in DoD industry managing Cost Plus Fixed Fee Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials type contracts of a technically complex nature
- Risk and Opportunity management experience desired
- Project Management certifications are highly desired
- Working knowledge of the FAR/DFARS and standard Government contract Terms and Conditions
- Working knowledge of project management principles and common tools and industry best practices
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Possess high emotional intelligence and trustworthy behavior
- Strong technical writing documentation and organization skills required
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Knowledge across a wide range of technical subjects such as information technology cybersecurity penetration testing systems and software engineering is strongly desired
- Ability to take full ownership of the position and manage/prioritize the workload independently
- Professional demeanor excellent organization skills exceptional record keeping skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain customer and vendor relationships
- Strong human relations skills to select develop mentor discipline and reward employees
- Strong comprehension skills for understanding needs and developing and applying solutions for internal and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff and work as part of a broader corporate team
- Ability to work productively across diverse customer sites with different levels of technical focus
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word Excel Project Power Point Outlook) and other technology tools
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work collaboratively with peers
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and ensure follow-through
- Must have a SECRET level security clearance at minimum
- Must be able to work during regular business hours M-F
- U.S. Citizenship is required
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $125,000 - $150,000
