Position Summary:



We're seeking a creative, data-driven Social Media Manager to lead growth, engagement, and storytelling across multiple platforms, with a strong focus on TikTok. In this role, you'll own the strategy, content creation, and execution for key organic channels-managing the monthly content calendar, developing 360 launch and activation plans, and identifying emerging trends to keep the brand ahead of the curve. You'll collaborate closely with creative, marketing, retail, and ecomm teams to expand reach, drive brand awareness, and support both digital and retail initiatives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative multitasker with exceptional communication, writing, creative, and analytical skills. A true content creator, you have a knack for compelling copy, visual storytelling, and producing scroll-stopping content across social formats. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media and skilled at turning platform insights and trends into strategies that grow engagement and brand presence, thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and know how to turn social media strategy into measurable results.



Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)



Social Strategy & Growth



* Develop and execute platform-specific growth strategies for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and LinkedIn including hands-on content creation, trend integration, and audience engagement tactics with the majority of the focus being on growing our TikTok.



* Concept and implement organic social activation plans to acquire new followers, strengthen best practices, and achieve industry leading brand social KPIs.



* Partner with the Amazon team to create organic social content that supports product visibility and sales.



* Support retail initiatives by producing Meta content that drives foot traffic and in-store engagement.



Content Development & Execution



* Oversee the monthly social content calendar across organic channels, aligning with launches, campaigns, events, and promotions.



* Ideate, write, and edit copy tailored to each platform (TikTok, Pinterest, YT, and LinkedIn) ensuring alignment with audience personas.



* Concept and manage storytelling series and creative campaigns to drive brand awareness and growth.



* Collaborate with creative teams to deliver best-in-class assets; review and approve all produced content (TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) with timely, constructive feedback.



* Repurpose influencer content and press hits in collaboration with the Influencer / PR team to fit the monthly content calendar.



* Create and edit videos when needed, leveraging brand templates where necessary.



Trendspotting & Innovation



* Regularly identify emerging social trends, audio, new features, platform algorithm shifts, and engagement opportunities for the brand.



* Test and integrate innovative content formats to keep the brand ahead of platform evolutions.



Performance Tracking & Insights



* Own and maintain the monthly social KPI dashboard, tracking performance, channel growth, awareness, and acquisition metrics.



* Conduct campaign reporting, competitive analysis, and audience insights to optimize strategy.



* Lead social listening efforts through Sprout Social and develop enhanced reporting around audience sentiment and conversation trends.



* Partner with the paid media team to align organic and paid social strategies, including sparking on TikTok and measuring ROI.



Supervisory Responsibilities:


Will manage 1-2 Social Media Associates. Would also supervise interns or on staff Social Media Specialists per business needs.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:


* Bachelor's degree


* 4-7 years of social media management experience with a proven track record of platform growth



Special Requirements: Occasional weekend work to suit company needs




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


* Strong creative skills in short-form video, graphic design, and storytelling.


* Proven track record in social strategy, campaign execution, management, and reporting.


* In-depth understanding of all major social media platforms-especially TikTok-from both paid and organic perspectives, including strengths, nuances, algorithms, success metrics, and audience demographics.


* Skilled in tailoring voice and content to optimize engagement for each platform.


* Proficiency in analytics, social media management tools, keyword and hashtag tracking, and performance measurement.


* Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


* Data-driven and analytical, with a focus on growing traffic and community.


* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond in real time and occasionally work evenings


or weekends as needed.



Location: Remote; preferably in NYC, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, or SF/LA



Travel: Domestic travel to company headquarters and photo shoots as needed; less than 35% of time annually or on an at-need basis.



Equipment Used: Computer, printer, scanner, telephone, and photocopier.




Physical and Mental Requirements:


* Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.


* Light mental and visual attention is required for performing work where there is some variety, but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities. Work requires some coordination with others.



Environmental Conditions: Standard office setting




Salary Range: 80,000-90,000 annually
