As an IT Program Manager, you will establish and lead Centre of Excellence on Agile/DevOps practices within the IT department by managing the adoption of Agile/DevOps and a culture of continuous improvement.

This position will work a hybrid schedule

3 days in office (2 remote) at our Cottonwood Heights, UT office

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Program Manager to join our team and lead key IT programs that deliver real impact across our operations. You'll be the lead between IT and business operations, ensuring seamless delivery of technology solutions that support our fast-paced, outcome-driven environment. Having track record in delivering projects within the chemicals/manufacturing industry, you'll understand the challenges of a site-based environment and ensuring our technology is fit-for-purpose. You'll be pivotal in shaping how we deliver technology, bringing together teams across functions, manufacturing, and our external partners to drive results.

  • Experience in leading and delivering SAP programs globally is essential.

  • Lead and oversee multiple project teams across globally, ensuring timely, outcome-focused portfolio/program delivery in a fast-paced environment.

  • Extensive experience managing SI partners in IT delivery including leading RFP, RFQ processes with procurement.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaborate closely with business units and IT to ensure that technology solutions are tailored to operational needs and site-based and customer realities.

  • Drive change by implementing innovative strategies that optimise delivery timelines, manage budgets, and mitigate risks.

  • Be a key player in governance through monitoring project performance and create reports for leadership team to keep projects on track.

  • Accurately identify potential roadblocks for future sprints and work with team management to resolve expeditiously. Identify, evaluate and rise risks to leadership.

  • Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions

  • Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation

  • Foster self-organization, empower the team to make decisions and remove decision making barriers whenever possible

  • Foster transparency and visibility of information

  • Wear multiple hats, as needed by the team, to keep project moving and team motivated.

  • You're highly organised, with an eye for detail, and skilled in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • You're driven by delivering tangible results, and your leadership is focused on both people and outcomes.

  • You have solid experience working with business stakeholders to manage expectations and technical teams in SAP, infrastructure, Microsoft Azure and business applications.

  • PMP, Agile, or PRINCE2 certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
