4500 Minimum Education High school diploma/GED. Minimum Experience None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance of another person. Ability to operate GSE. Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. Knowledge of timekeeping/FedEx computer systems. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Job Conditions Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Drivers vehicle not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
