Shift Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

About this role:
Assists quality engineer in support of the appropriate engineering group, manufacturing, system/services support and materials group. Serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, and communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Perform project and product testing.
  • Perform basic statistical analysis and communicate results to teams.
  • Contribute support for CAPA activities.
  • Identify areas of improvement and participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Perform testing, gather and record data, analyze results and report product and in-process monitoring test results.
  • Assist with process and product qualification activities.
  • Assists during audit activities.
  • Assist with product failure analysis.
  • Create and maintain data files and forms.
  • Assist in developing and qualifying test methods, data sheets, test fixtures, and testing equipment.
  • Train peers on processes and methods.
  • Initiate, review and close manufacturing NC's per local procedures
  • Support the initiation of site nonconformances in the tool designated per QMS i.e. eCAPA
  • Initiate and assist in the investigation and disposition of nonconforming materials, designs and/or systems.
  • Review device history records (DHR) and acceptance records to ensure all activities in the Device Master Record (DMR) have been performed and approved.
  • Update databases and spreadsheets used to track, monitor, and report site and department metrics and activities.
  • Use the inventory and traceability management systems to transact and research material.
  • Complete inspections of raw material components per specification requirements to ensure components meet expectation of local and global procedures.
  • Perform quality walks within all functional operations areas, compile and communicate observations as appropriate to ensure continuous improvements as well as compliance to local and global procedures
  • Support Preventive Quality Programs i.e. Workstation Vulnerability Assessment and Quality Catch
  • May complete documentation updates in the documentation management system
  • Ensure Quarantine product and areas are maintained per Boston Scientific Requirements
  • Perform product release activities per local and global procedures.
  • Assist Quality Engineering with data analysis of manufacturing processes for tracking and trending to ensure continuous improvement of sustaining processes is achieved.
  • Communicate with a wide variety of BSC personnel in and outside of the site


Required qualifications:



  • 2 Years with high school diploma/degree/equivalent, or
  • An equivalent combination of education/work experience
  • Certification in assigned area preferred

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
