Job Purpose
Lead the strategic sourcing, total acquisition cost, supplier relationship, cost management and purchasing strategy management. Oversee the overall commercial relationship and overall supplier performance to drive cost reduction and organizational initiatives. Create, execute, maintain, and continually improve upon commodity strategies for the commodities assigned; focused on current and future alignment of technology requirements, and achieving objectives in terms of total cost, lead-time, capacity, inventory management, risk mitigation, and over all supply chain effectiveness. Leads the development of these strategies in coordination with global colleagues and other functional areas (e.g., Quality, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Service Parts, and Logistics). Key Responsibilities
Experience Required
* Bachelor's Degree - Business/Supply Chain or other similar degree program. * 5+ years of combined experience within Supply Chain, Operations. Preferred Qualifications
BS Degree preferred * Lean Sigma experience (green or black belt) preferred and/or CPSM/CPIM certification * Strong knowledge of corporate purchasing practices and negotiation strategies * Product cost management a plus * Experience with cost controls & reduction (VA/VE) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical thinker and problem-solving skills * Strong knowledge of raw material analysis and tracking systems * As part of the experience being required, applicants must have had the following:
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $85,000 - $176,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) What We Offer
