Cyber Analyst

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Journeyman Cyber Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL, location on Redstone Arsenal.

The candidate will assist in developing tactical RMF packages and utilize eMASS to process and maintain records on both NIPR & SIPR. Will process and maintain records in the Army Portfolio Management System (APMS). Candidate will conduct Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans and maintain a standalone ACAS server.

Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of documentation for assigned information systems. This includes the System Security Plan, Software Fielding Plan, and Continuous monitoring strategy. Support the implementation and validation of security controls (technical, administrative, and physical) as outlined in the SSP.

Required Skills/Experience:

RMF Knowledge and experience
• Familiar with eMASS
• Experience with ACAS
• Previous experience as a system administrator
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), A+, entry-level) are a plus
• CompTIA Security+ CIS preferred
• Travel: 10 %
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• BS Degree in CIS, MIS, Cyber and 3+ years of experience
• Equivalent Experience is 6-8 years of applicable experience

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with embedded RTOS, and protocols such as ARINC-429 & MIL-STD-1553 are a plus.
