The Opportunity with McKinstry

The Lead Remote Operations Engineer is responsible for managing a Remote Operations Controls team and Remote Operations Controls contracts. This person will assist in program management and Remote Operations Controls improvement and will resource technical support on complex projects. The Lead Engineer also provides project management, performance monitoring, technical guidance, quality assurance and communication management to the ROC team.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Supports Program Manager in determining resources needed to deliver on client scopes of work.
  • Supports Business Development by applying context to all ROC team members (sales support, driving partnerships, cultivating client (legacy) relationship.
  • Supports scope clarity and the delivery of client scope.
  • Acts as an escalation point for internal team delivery and cross team communication.
  • Team coordination and resource management.
  • Cross regional collaboration.
  • As a member of a National Team, participates in on-call 24/7 support for emergencies and after-hours / Escalations.
  • Development of direct reports as measured by increasing responsibility and trust in project execution, flexibility in tasks performed.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Strong proactive and escalation communicator, internal and external.
  • Ability to lead/delegate project responsibilities.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate team needs and priorities.
  • Ability to support strong client relationships.
  • Ability to lead/delegate project responsibilities.
  • High level of system integration and controls capabilities & strategies.
  • Organize and deliver with Project Management.
  • People Management Systems; payroll, timesheets, PACE, Workday, Budgets, Viewpoint.
  • Technical Degree / Bachelor's or Computer Science/Data / Engineering Degree (desired).
  • 7+ industry experience, Controls preferred.

The pay range for this position is $114,210 - $192,900 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
