The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The medical oncology secretary coordinates activities at the front desk/reception area. Interacts effectively with the medical providers and all team members. Registers patients, reviews patient insurance plans, maintains accurate records in regarding referral, office visits. Answers phones professionally, records messages and forwards calls to appropriate party, reschedule and schedules appointments timely. Files patient information in a timely fashion.

Excellent communication skills, time management and problem solving skills.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Computer experience required

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a medical office preferred

• Pre-certification experience preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

N/A

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem - Day
• Rotating Wekkends and holidays
