DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform custodial duties, groundskeeping, and a variety of trades responsibilities in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, welding, and other related services in the maintenance of Troop E facilities. You will also maintain the headquarters building, top floor of the annex building, laboratory, and garage. This role requires the ability to prioritize projects and duties while using sound judgment to determine what supplies and resources will be required to complete work. In addition, you will assist with various administrative duties such as restocking inventory, filling supply orders, and unloading trucks. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
