Job Summary The Senior Director of Corporate Strategy plays a crucial role within the Corporate Strategy team, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). This position is instrumental in defining and guiding the organization's long-term strategic vision. By integrating forward-looking market insights with practical strategy development and enterprise planning, the Senior Director will also oversee initiatives related to inorganic growth, including mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. Collaborating closely with functional and regional leaders, as well as the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), this role is essential in positioning the company to proactively respond to technological advancements, leverage emerging market opportunities, and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage. Qualifications Knowledge and Experience 15+years of experience in technology or digital infrastructure (data centers, cloud platforms, fiber/edge, or related tech) focused strategy at a data center/digital infrastructure, technology firm or management consulting firm preferred Bachelors' degree required; preferred disciplines in Computer Science,ComputerEngineering orequivalent Familiarity with digital infrastructure and AI/ML compute trends, networking technology, sustainability tech (renewables, fuel cells), regulatory shifts (data sovereignty, energy policy) Experience in growth strategy for data centers, industry / segment marketing, competitor intelligence / market scan, commercial optimization would be directly applicable Preferred experience operating across at least two of North America, EMEA, and APAC; comfort with differing regulatory and customer landscapes. Deep fluency in market modelling (capacity, demand, price curves), scenario planning, financial and investment analysis Passion and aptitude for analytical rigor and creating an independentpoint of view, an ability to multitask, high standards of excellence and a desire to 'get things done' Skills and Attributes Structured strategic thinking ability to break ambiguity into crisp hypotheses, frameworks, and action plans Quantitative rigor and familiarity with analytical tools - Advanced Excel/financial modeling; comfortable with Python/R or BI tools for largescale data sets Innate drive to "connect the dots" across technology, policy, and macro trends Strong executive presence and ability to craft compelling narratives, facilitate contentious discussions, build consensus and drive decision making Influence Without Authority - Navigate matrixed environments, gain trust of peers and senior stakeholders across the organization and on complex, high-stakes issues and build relationships and alignment Bias for Action - Convert insights into clear recommendations with owners, timelines, and success metrics People Leadership - Coach talent, promote diversity of thought, and set a culture of high performance and integrity Resilience & Agility - Thrive amid market volatility and shifting priorities; pivot quickly while maintaining strategic northstar. The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:*San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $250,000 to $374,000 per year *California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $242,000 to $364,000 per year *Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $230,000 to $346,000 per year Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations.
