Summary:

The Training Specialist develops materials and assesses workforce readiness to support adoption of the data governance framework and self-service tools.

*This role is based in Falls Church, VA with possible telework.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop training for data mesh and governance
  • Produce Training Impact Assessment and user guides
  • Evaluate onboarding friction and usability
  • Support stakeholder engagement for adoption

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Proficiency in training tools and platforms (e.g., LMS systems, Microsoft Teams, Zoom)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to create change communication plans and engagement strategies
  • Familiarity with performance metrics and evaluation methods for training effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, or related field
  • Prosci or similar change management certification
  • Mid-level (3-5 years, 2+ in DoD/healthcare)
  • 3+ years in training/change management
  • Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD training programs
  • Familiarity with data governance tools

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 annually.
