Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the Enterprise Operations team as we run and scale our business. This is a strategic and operationally focused role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to work closely with leadership on high-impact initiatives. This is a hybrid role with the option of the role being situated in Phoenix-AZ, Raleigh-NC, or Salt Lake City-UT.

This position provides support for the strategic analysis, planning, and implementation of business process enhancements and improvements required to drive scale and meet Enterprise Operations objectives. Works directly with leadership, internal business partners and stakeholders to identify and implement business processes and initiatives that will enable the business unit to increase efficiencies and enhance results while satisfying requirements. Assesses current practices, collects information and industry trends, and creates specifications to support business operations. Determines improvements or solutions to address identified issues. Tracks and reports progress against milestones and coordinates activities of parties across multiple functions to achieve project goals. Liaises between business units and business partners to facilitate productive relationships. May occasionally guide less experienced associates in the work group.


Responsibilities

  • Project and Process Management - Supports and Leads projects and processes, serving as a resource to the business unit or organization. Utilizes expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters. Aids in the communication of performance results and expected behaviors.
  • Operational Support - Provides support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to improve team practices. Assists in driving greater efficiencies, improved customer satisfaction, and risk mitigation throughout efforts. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as a business expert resource on efforts wider in organizational scale.
  • Consultation - Works closely with business leaders and departments to understand their needs. Helps prepare executive summaries for Sr Leaders.
  • Collaboration - Works in conjunction with individuals, business units, and outside parties. Assists in negotiations with external consultants or vendors. Facilitates communication across functions to enhance process flow.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or Banking Operations Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or Banking Operations Management

Skill(s): Possess technical and business acumen, active listening, assimilation of information, negotiation, and judgment skills, Ability to quickly understand complex business issues and processes, Qualitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills, Ability to work across functional teams and interact with external third parties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to create PowerPoints for Senior leadership
  • Advanced Excel (INDEX-MATCH, Macros, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Agile Delivery & Tools is a plus (e.g. JIRA/Confluence)
  • Experience in Banking/Finance is a plus
  • Detail oriented, able to multitask and function in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Must be able to work independently on assigned duties while successfully collaborating in a team friendly environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are important as multi-tasking is essential.
