WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a hands-on Software Development Manager to lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality solutions primarily using a Microsoft technology stack. This role combines team leadership, technical leadership, and active development. The Software Development Manager will ensure our bespoke software applications are maintained, enhanced, and aligned with business needs, while working closely with the Technical Architect to document and evolve the organization's technical ecosystem. A key focus area will be integration of enterprise platforms including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and Resource Management Planning systems. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of developers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Drive the design, development, and maintenance of custom-built software applications and integrations.
- Oversee integrations between enterprise platforms including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and Resource Management Planning systems.
- Work closely with the Technical Architect to understand, document, and optimize the technical ecosystem.
- Participate in hands-on development, troubleshooting, and code reviews as needed.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to best practices for security and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement, promote and enhance appropriate development standards over time.
- Stay current with Microsoft technologies and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and architecture.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Client projects for this position require US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience leading development teams, with the ability to balance leadership and hands-on technical work.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft technology stack including .NET, SQL Server, C#, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure, etc.
- Proven experience with enterprise integrations across ERP, CRM, HRIS, and related systems.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and modern development best practices.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in hybrid environments and coordinating across teams.
