Machine Operator

Staffmark is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join a leading manufacturing facility in Westminster, SC. This is an excellent opportunity to build your experience in a fast-paced production environment while earning competitive pay and gaining long-term career potential.

Pay: $16.50/hr base + $2.00/hr shift premium = $18.50/hr total

Schedule: 3rd Shift | Monday - Friday | 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines based on production schedules
• Inspect molded parts for accuracy and quality according to specifications
• Perform basic machine adjustments and assist with material/tooling changes
• Accurately log production data, including part counts, scrap, and downtime
• Package finished parts to meet company and customer standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate issues with equipment or materials promptly to supervisors
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation (plastics experience a plus)
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and production paperwork
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs during the shift
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Reliable and flexible to work 3rd shift and weekend overtime as needed
