Supervises the work of phlebotomy personnel in performing, routing, and specialized blood drawingtechniques from patients and specimen processing/handling for laboratory procedures used in diagnosis and treatment of disease's.

Minimum Education:
High school graduate or Pass a general educational development (GED) test or Provide official transcripts showing credit for general
education courses completed at an accredited college or university.

Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
At least five (5) years of experience as a Phlebotomist in an acute hospital setting preferred.
Understands the entire pre-analytical workflow of a Clinical Laboratory.
Ability to communicate with colleagues and work with laboratory management to solve challenges.

Required License/Certification:
Current CPT License
Current BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association.

The hourly rate range for this position is $29.00 to $45.00.
