The successful candidate:

Hours:Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays

Status: PRN (As Needed)
This is a PRN position, meaning the role is on an as-needed basis. PRN team members are scheduled based on staffing needs and may not have a fixed or guaranteed number of hours each week. Flexibility is key, and this role is ideal for individuals seeking variable scheduling.

Overview:
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) / Patient Access Representative (PAR) is a paraprofessional caregiver working under the supervision of a registered nurse. This dual-role position supports both clinical and administrative functions, including:

  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living

  • Performing select tests and procedures

  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment

  • Registering patients and entering orders

  • Providing care appropriate to the age groups defined in the scope of care

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Active status in the Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry

  • Current CPR certification
