Senior Business Portfolio Analyst

What you will be doing:

The Senior Business Analyst provides business rule requirements, quality assurance, enterprise analysis and consultation to the Supply Chain Data Management Services group as well as day-to-day oversight and maintenance of outsourced data operations with 3rd party service providers. The role will apply extensive business, process, and systems knowledge to validate business rules, technical requirements, and data integrity of Premier data sources to meet audit compliance and data standards. The Senior Business Analyst will be the primary contact and liaison to the ITS group providing thought leadership and overall knowledge of Premier's Supply Chain applications to make sound technical decisions and offer recommendations to improve business applications. During these duties, the Senior BA will be expected to work on the development of reports, databases, macros, etc. to assist in these functions.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility #1- 50%

* Create, maintain, and enhance the databases and systems used during the maintenance and QA of contract data
* Develop internal business analytics reports including exception reports and data quality reports
* Perform technical quality assurance of contract data

Responsibility #2 - 20%

* Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality and integrity issues within CAMS and downstream systems. Formulate corrective actions and perform root cause analysis.
* Be familiar with Premier databases and can understand logical and physical data models and mapping documents.

Responsibility #3 - 20%

* Evaluate processes, identify and recommend process improvement opportunities, providing concept design, testing, and supporting documentation.
* Work with internal and external customers on recommended changes, enhancements and improvements to systems and processes.

Responsibility #4 - 10%

* Maintain and enhance current responsibilities of 3rd party service provider to drive process efficiencies and improve SLA delivery to internal and external customers. Conduct and lead stand-up meetings.
* Lead and represent the group in BRAVO to CAMS integration planning, scoping, and implementation initiatives.
* Provide technical and business process guidance to FUSION integration and migration efforts.

Required Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Working Conditions: Remote Travel Requirements: Travel 1-20% within the US Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $90,000 - $150,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
