Description

The Lead Faculty is responsible for assisting faculty and students in navigating the learning process. This role provides mentoring and guidance to faculty as assigned by the Program Chair and/or Department Chair. The Lead Faculty serves as a support position for faculty and may be assigned responsibilities to assist with faculty on-boarding, areas of development, or specific University or program initiatives. Also, this position may be assigned remediation or student support functions based on the needs of the program. Requirements:

Utilization of the LMS is necessary for faculty to monitor student engagement and performance in order to provide appropriate and timely intervention. Lead Faculty must employ technology to monitor student progress, communicate with students individually and collectively, and support students through constructive feedback and/or additional learning resources.
