Test Technician - 2nd Shift

This role will support acceptance testing functions on production and development/prototype products. The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks and testing functions in support of a manufacturing, production, or depot environment. The candidate will work directly with engineering on production testing and troubleshooting activities.

What You Will Do:

Apply strong problem-solving skills to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.

Fault-isolate issues and support resolution between test environments (test station, interface adapters, test cables, etc.) and devices under test.

Observe, analyze, and report on test data in accordance with test requirements.

Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.

Interpret test data (e.g., plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to determine pass/fail conditions and escalate when further analysis is needed.

Use of hand tools, torque tools, analyzers, and power tools as needed.

This is a 2nd shift onsite role.

Qualifications You Must Have:

High school diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school technical training).

Minimum of 2 years relevant testing experience (STEM education may be considered in place of experience).

Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MATLAB, basic programming, and general computer literacy.

Ability to perform product testing using procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal/written instructions under limited supervision.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with oscilloscopes, pulse generators, network analyzers, signal generators, multimeters, and other test equipment.

Prior work in manufacturing, assembly, aviation, or naval environments with hands-on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.

Experience with RF and high voltage testing.

Experience working in structured, security-sensitive, or regulated production environments.

CLEARANCE NOT REQUIRED

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the physical and environmental demands consistent with a defense production test environment: Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8 - 10 hours per shift) while operating or monitoring test stations. Ability to lift and carry equipment or materials weighing up to 35 - 50 lbs. Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, or climbing ladders as required during equipment setup or troubleshooting. Comfortable working with or near electronic equipment, high-voltage devices, and RF test systems. Must be able to wear required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, ESD straps, hearing protection) throughout the shift. Able to work in a controlled lab or manufacturing floor environment that may include elevated noise levels, temperature fluctuations, or vibration from machinery. May be required to operate or move test racks, carts, and large cable bundles around the lab or test area. Dexterity for handling small components, wiring, and precision tools; visual acuity for inspecting fine details.???????
