Overview

NaphCare is hiring experienced Administrative Assistants to join Claims Department in Birmingham, AL where we have positions opened at our Acton Road location and our Corporate Headquarters on Columbian Road in Vestavia.



Responsibilities

Both Administrative Assistant positions will provide support for our medical claims department. These positions involve data entry, document management, and providing assistance to the medical claims team. Duties and responsibilities may include and not be limited to:

    Welcomes and directs visitors and clients
  • Answers and transfers phone calls after careful screening to ensure each call is transferred to the correct department
  • Communicates in a professional manner with all managers, employees, vendors and clients of NaphCare
  • Provides excellent customer service while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
  • Seeks resources for direction, when necessary
  • Performs all other related functions and duties as required
  • Perform various clerical and administrative functions, including, but not limited to receiving/sorting mail, receiving deliveries and sorting/mailing checks


Qualifications

Position Qualifications/Requirements/Preferred Experience:

  • Associate's degree, preferred
  • Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent skills in the areas of organization, attention to detail, time management and an ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to take initiative with projects to work both independently and as a team member
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all corporate policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Must pass criminal background check
