SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The Product Manager II will lead the strategic and tactical marketing efforts for the Fluid Management and Critical Care portfolio. This includes product lifecycle management, market analysis, cross functional collaboration, and commercial execution. The role is pivotal in driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence across a diverse product suite including pressure transducers, tubing kits, stopcocks, manifolds, and infusion accessories.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
* Manage product lifecycle from ideation through obsolescence.
* Own forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin optimization.
* Monitor product performance and adjust strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
* Make recommendations for product enhancements and lead specialized teams as needed by identifying problems not met by existing products.
2. Market Research & Insights
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
* Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive differentiation and growth.
* Coordinate Market Research and gather product performance data through various methods.
* Evaluate new product potential through market research and competitive analysis.
* Gathering information about product performance by observation of procedures, questionnaires, interviews and face-to-face discussions.
3. Product Launch & Go-to-Market Execution
* Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for new and existing products.
* Lead product launches, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
* Prepare brochures, sales materials, and marketing forecasts.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Sales, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution.
* Work with product users to identify unmet needs and coordinate with Sales and Manufacturing for customized solutions.
5. Customer & Field Support
* Serve as the voice of the customer in product development and enhancement initiatives.
* Support field teams with product knowledge, competitive positioning, and customer engagement strategies.
6. Sales Enablement & Training
* Develop sales tools, training materials, and promotional content.
* Train sales and engineering staff in clinical application, product features, and competitive positioning.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field (MBA or MS preferred).
* Work related experience equivalent to 2-3 years of product management and/or sales experience preferably in medical devices or healthcare.
* Preferred: understanding of fluid management and/or critical care markets.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively and to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as a team leader with good organizational skills when called upon.
* Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
* Excellent presentation skills and the ability to prepare professional written and oral presentations and market analysis.
* Excellent market research skills and the ability to report research findings with high degrees of validity and reliability.
* Other activities as assigned by manager.
