Overview

The Program Director of Nursing Strategy Operations is a strategic and operational partner to the Chief Nursing Executive/Chief Operating Officer (CNE/COO), ensuring seamless execution of nursing initiatives, strategy, and executive operations. This role is pivotal in driving alignment across nursing leadership, managing strategic priorities, and ensuring the CNE/COO is fully prepared and organized for all engagements. The ideal candidate is obsessively organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven pediatric healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

    Ensures the CNE/COO's meetings and calendar are strategically managed and fully supported with preparation, follow-through, and alignment.
  • Drives alignment and execution of nursing strategic initiatives by partnering with leadership and monitoring progress toward organizational goals.
  • Creates and maintains a centralized system to organize and provide real-time access to critical information for the CNE/COO.
  • Improves operational efficiency and communication across nursing leadership through structured processes, clear messaging, and high-quality deliverables.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree BS required and 7 or more years experience Leadership, strategy, and project management experience preferred. or
  • Master's Degree Preferred and 5-7 years experience Leadership, strategy, and project management experience preferred.
  • ASQ - CMQ/Organizational Excellence Preferred Upon Hire
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Preferred Upon Hire
  • Lean Certification Preferred Upon Hire

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $43.23/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.



Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
