Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a systems engineer for Fleet Ballistic Missile Program, The selected candidate will join a dedicated team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, focusing on the Trident Missile Guidance Subsystem. This team is responsible for ensuring the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of mission-critical guidance technologies that enable strategic deterrence.

  • Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
  • Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity

  • Experience in use of MATLAB and Simulink
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++ C#
  • Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
  • Test station Operations, troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Experience with requirements databases (i.e. DOORS)
  • Experience with motion equipment
  • Ability to read configuration scripts

Target salary range: USD $93,014.00/Yr. - USD $103,187.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
