JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT












The position will be responsible for assisting the production at the Lovely facility. The position will also be required to supply repair information to the production floor and assuring each service order is correct and contains a clear and specified scope of work to be performed. The position will be required to release service orders into WIP and to assure service orders when completed are coded correctly with a comp or teco status as required. This position will also monitor and participate in material movement for the Customer Exchange Program that is the core supplier of units to our customers. This position will be considered a development position for leading up to a fully qualified production planner.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PERFORMED

Note: The following Responsibilities apply toall employees: 1) identifies areas of self-development and plays an active role in personal growth, 2) seeks out, accepts, and applies feedback and coaching, and 3) formally documents objectives and performance results using the Joy Global GPS System within required timeframes.

The following Responsibilities also apply toemployees in leader roles: 1) actively assists others with the creation and execution of effective development plans, 2) actively provides coaching, balanced feedback, and appropriate recognition and 3) formally documents objectives and performance results for direct reports using the Joy Global GPS System within required timeframes.





DAILY:






  1. Monitors all incoming and outgoing service orders for all product lines within the Lovely location(s).






  1. Releases service orders into WIP.






  1. Assures correct repair information is entered into all service order routers.






  1. Sets comp or teco status when repairs are completed and assure products are shipped.






  1. Monitors and adjust material movements to assure inventory control for the Component Exchange Program.






  1. Interact with national warehouses to ensure inventory supply is sufficient in order to satisfy any customer requirements or request.









WEEKLY:






  1. Assist the production control planner in providing themanager with post week production reports and results.





MONTHLY:






  1. Assist the production control planner in preparing production reports and results for the monthly staff meeting






  1. Assist the accounting department with any concerns that may arise when closing the financial month and entering into the billing process.





OCCASIONAL, INFREQUENT:






  1. Serve as the liaison between the Lovely plant, sales and customers during the absence of the production control planner.





KNOWLEDGE




Computer skills necessary: Microsoft Office, Basic Knowledge of SAP.
