JOB SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing daily support to project Superintendents through data entry, overseeing administrative tasks and communicating with internal and external customers.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • A working knowledge of general office procedures at a level normally acquired through one year of experience in an office setting; and



  • High School diploma or equivalent.




KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES



  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.



  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.



  • Must be able to act with integrity and professionalism.



  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.



  • Working knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.



  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills.




OTHER REQUIREMENTS


  • Must have a safe driving record and a valid driver's license.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • One year experience working in a civil construction office is preferred.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES





  • Responsible for administering and maintaining project packages.



  • Responsible for coordinating Dig Alerts.



  • Responsible for analyzing pre-fields projects, including products, traffic and pedestrian control requirements.



  • Responsible for notifying residents and businesses affected of upcoming work.



  • Communicates and coordinates new project information and schedule with the Public Works Department.



  • Responsible for coordinating and communicating required units, timeline and scheduled outages with Utility inspectors.



  • Supports superintendent with daily paperwork and administrative tasks.



  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.




COMPENSATION & BENEFITS


  • Wage range: $24 - $34 hourly.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with company match.
  • Paid time off.

  • Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position)
