Title: Gobal Master Data Specialist
Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $99,000 - $129,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week after 6 months in the role
Relocation Available

Focus: The Global Master Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring that Olin has a documented process for all data functions and helping drive, support, improve, and increase productivity within the master data governance process for all Olin locations. This position manages the governance, timeliness, and completion of all master data as it relates to vendors.

Global Master Data Specialist Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitors change requests, incidents, and workflows for vendor master data to ensure they are promptly addressed.
  • Supports, manages, and provides training for the Master Data Governance work process.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert within Vendor SMS/MDG processes.
  • Supports open projects from the Center of Excellence team; leads improvement projects.
  • Supports process improvements and troubleshooting.
  • Tracks data needed for key performance metrics related to the contract management process.
  • Plays a critical role in producing training tools and other content for stakeholders.

Global Master Data Specialist Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree* in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of Master Data experience; 5 years vendor management experience in a chemical environment preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with others while being able to adapt to various situations
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products; experience in SAP S4 and Master Data Governance systems preferred
