Job Description
Manages, plans, organizes, and evaluates procurement contracting and agreements. Manages and evaluates direct reports. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on contract negotiation, administration, and compliance. Job Responsibility
- Provides leadership to Category Management team members, supervisors, and managers by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.
- Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.
- Manages, plans, and organizes the development, negotiation, and administration of Service Line procurement contracts and GPO agreements.
- Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports.
- Ensures implementation, and evaluation of related operating policies, procedures and processes.
- Participates in developing and delivering training related to operations.
- Manages new product request process and development of product performance requirements.
- Ensures appropriate support and value is provided to organization Value Analysis Team (VAT) process.
- Oversees the maintenance of contract database to ensure proper administration of contract agreements.
- Reports on service line contract performance, and recommends corrective action or justifies variances.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.
