ABOUT THE JOB: As a Remote Recruiter, you'll play a pivotal role in executing Wis-Pak's talent acquisition strategy for one or more of our Wis-Pak plant facilities. As a Recruiter specializing in hiring hourly/salary candidates, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring high-quality employees for a variety of positions across different departments in our plants. You will partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements, develop recruiting strategies, and drive the end-to-end hiring process. You should be familiar with the unique challenges of hiring hourly/salary workers in rural areas and possess excellent communication skills to engage candidates effectively. ABOUT YOU

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements for hourly/salary roles
- Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels including job boards, Boolean searches, social media, networking, referrals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other platforms and methods.
- Leverage all available recruitment resources (i.e., college, grassroots, military, and community partnerships)
- Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit
- Schedule and coordinate interviews for candidates, providing them with a positive candidate experience
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including offer negotiation, and pre-employment onboarding
- Track and report recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, and suggest improvements
- Maintain and manage an active pipeline of hourly/salaried candidates to fill positions quickly and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Proven experience working virtually as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role, with a focus on hiring hourly/salary employees (3-5 years' experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, including sourcing strategies and interviewing techniques for hourly/salary candidates
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
- Ability to assess and evaluate candidate skills, qualifications, and cultural fit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple roles and priorities at once
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing a high level of customer service to candidates and internal stakeholders
- Previous experience in a staffing agency or recruiting firm is desirable
- Expertise in social media platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Proficiency in utilizing and interpreting assessments in the hiring process is a PLUS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Communications, or related field preferred
- Travel up to 25%
- Candidate should reside in EST or CST time zones
