A Brief Overview Under direction, participates in planned research by advanced analyzing, abstracting, population and managing data in complex research databases. Monitors and maintains relevant databases and coordinates abstract writing / presentation of data.
What you will do
- Participate in complex research by advanced analyzing, abstracting, population, and presenting data using research databases.
- Coordinate abstract writing and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain research databases.
- Act as divisional resource for research database management.
- Keep up-to-date with all possible database capabilities as well as related software and technology.
- Participate in clinical research within area and in other activities to support the project.
- Perform other related duties as a result of the research performed, such as literature searches, etc.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- Bachelor's Degree Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Technology - Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of experience with clinical databases and research - Required
- At least five (5) years of experience with clinical databases and research - Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel)
- Advanced proficiency with database management systems (Access, Oracle)
- Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to gather, analyze and make recommendations/decisions based on data
- Ability to convey complex or technical information in an easy to understand manner
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change
SALARY RANGE:
$67,500.00 - $86,060.00 Annually
