Estimated annual base salary: $61,120 (minimum)- $76,400 (midpoint)- $91,680 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark?If you're a Contract Management Specialist we have an exciting opportunity for you.

This position has the primary responsibility of managing existing contracts to ensure the enforcement of all rights and obligations, and provides support to the contract negotiations and claims management functions.

What you will be doing...

  • Tracks and manages long-term contract needs, expirations, renewals, and pricing adjustments (e.g., escalation, de-escalation, volume-based pricing).

  • Identifies and manages customer specification changes, ensuring timely responses and equitable assertions via established processes.

  • Distributes and retains customer documentation, including flow-down requirements, specifications, and agreements.

  • Manages agreements in Woodward's Contract Management System, ensuring accurate and timely updates of drafts, executed contracts, and relevant information.

  • Collaborates with Legal to interpret contract terms, enforce provisions, and manage contracts effectively.

  • Provides contract information, supports customer communications, and assists Shared Services with accounts receivable and collection matters.

  • Supports Product Life Cycle (PLC) management, including stage gate reviews and adherence to the PLC process.

  • Coordinates with Finance and Legal to monitor and ensure compliance with rebates, licensing, royalties, and commission agreements.

What we are looking for...

Education:

  • UNITED STATES\US - Associate's Degree

Experience and Skills:

  • Effectively collaborates within team environments and across functional groups, while organizing and distributing work efficiently.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of contract management software, commercial principles (e.g., cost, pricing, payment), and industry standards.

  • Exhibits basic negotiation skills, including contract pricing, terms, and conditions, as well as supporting customer claims.

  • Understands Woodward's stage gate process and Product Life Cycle (PLC), with some knowledge of Woodward products.

  • Manages workload efficiently by multitasking, focusing on details, and prioritizing tasks effectively, supported by experience in a commercial or related industry role.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
