Overview
The Agency of Digital Services (ADS) is seeking a Project Manager to join ADS's Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) as an senior level Project Manager. Working for the State of Vermont provides benefits such as: strong health insurance, a pension plan, a deferred compensation plan, eleven paid holidays, and reimbursement for continuing education. We have a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:45 am - 4:30 pm with some flexibility in these hours and the potential to telework while living within the State of Vermont. This position is the fourth level in the ADS EPMO Project Management series, which consists of five levels. Responsibilities include managing technology-focused projects. At this level, project managers collaborate with IT staff, subject matter experts (SMEs), and program leaders to coordinate the planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, designing, implementing, and enhancing of information systems and services for the State of Vermont. Work is performed under limited supervision upon the candidate demonstrating the skillset to conduct activities independently. Work is performed in a standard office setting, but some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular business hours may be expected. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration, Information Technology or a related field OR Certification as a Project Manager Professional (PMP) and Three (3) years or more of experience in the field of information technology where the primary role was project manager. OR Five (5) years or more of experience in the field of information technology where the primary role was project manager. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in business administration, public administration, information technology or project management. Total Compensation
