Overview

The Claims Reporting Analytics Lead plays a critical role in supporting the Claims organization by delivering data-driven insights and reporting solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across specialized claims lines. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong blend of analytical expertise, data strategy, execution capability, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values, and consistently uphold the standards of the Claims organization.



Responsibilities

    Partner with Claims department leaders to identify and fulfill complex reporting and data needs, focusing on trends and patterns within specialized claims lines.
  • Lead the development of a robust data infrastructure by collaborating with Data Engineering and integrating external data sources.
  • Gain a deep understanding of business processes and the data that drives them.
  • Prepare reports for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from Claims leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial or operational reporting, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong familiarity with the Claims and Insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Power BI, Planner, and SharePoint.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with BI software suites.
  • Hands-on experience with data tools such as Git, DAX Studio, PBI Helper, and Visual Studio Pro.
  • Proven track record in developing reporting and data visualization solutions, business analysis, and project planning.
  • Understanding of actuarial concepts, including the construction and interpretation of triangles.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
