AP Indexing Coordinator

GENERAL PURPOSE Under general supervision, perform duties necessary for indexing/imaging bills, invoices, and statements to a centralized AP environment. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform timely and accurate indexing of key data fields in or to prepare invoices for processing * Ensure that these transactions are handled in accordance with the relevant accounting policies and procedures * Assist with resolution of vendor inquiries * Assist with coordination of accounts payable transactions and various corporate departments and field operation units * Keep supervisor informed of any activities that may require his/her attention * The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent * 1 to 3 years of data entry and accounts payable or accounting related work experience * Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Proficient knowledge of accounts payable concepts and practices * Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems * Able to demonstrate customer service skills in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner * Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing * Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills) * Able to maintain confidentiality of information * Able to demonstrate problem solving skills * Able to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy * Able to work under general supervision and direction * Must be able to read, write and speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans |
